22.30 - Your host Hilde Hildebrand and her klaviertuose Kees van Zantwijk will seduce you into a night full of Heimweh and Sehnsucht. Departing from Nightclub Berlin, Hilde and Kees take you to an errant journey through the labyrinth of Love, Life and Death. With body and soul they will perform Weimar-esque tunes guaranteed to make you feel like the Nazi's are about to arrive any second. Frank Sheppard will make a special appearance. He is not only a fantastic actor, but also a singer with an electrifying presence.
00.00 - Leah Kline will lead you the way to the Big Apple. She’s a number one entertainer with a voice that will transport you directly from Amsterdam to one of the cradles of Jazz - Harlem’s famous Cotton Club. Leah Kline dances, jokes, improvises interactively with her public and on top of that is a beautyful singer. She brings to you a New Yorkstyle Cabaret Show.
00.30 - Special Appearance DJ Ursula 1000!!! Dance the night away
He is literally performing all over the world. From Poland to Russia, the NYC based mild mannered, multi-instrumentalist Alex Gimeno, made a whole in his buisy schedule. It's the one time chance to see him perform in Amsterdam. His style evolved and transitioned from the sophisticated & hip background score provided by his father, a renowned member of a 50's Latin orchestra to the heady rock, punk, disco, funk and electronic dance music of his generation. Alex smoothly moves back and forth between musical styles from the glamorous Jet Set era to frenetic electronica. Alex cannot be boxed in, categorized or labeled, his music is a multi-leveled eclectic blend of styles and genres. Finding a label to house this eclecticism could be tricky.
And of course we won’t miss out on DJ Polack the ever so truthful compagnion of Nightclub Berlin.
