Rudy Stroink was born in 1955 in Rotterdam, he graduated as architectural engineer at the Technology University (TU) of Delft. From 1981 until 1985, he was cofounder of, and worked for, the designing agency Villa Nova. When he returned to the Netherlands, he began a Dutch branch of the American project developer Trammel Crow, named Trammel Crow Nederland (TCN). Due to the success of TCN, Stroink decided in 2003 that TCN should become an independent company and therefore he bought out the American co-owners. Next to CEO of TCN, Stroink is a member of the board of NEPROM – Association for Dutch Project Developers Companies – and he is guest lecturer at the Amsterdam Business School (University of Amsterdam) and TU Delft.
